An opal and diamond centrepiece necklet consisting of a pear shaped, cabochon cut, white opal with exceptional blue/gree/orange play of colour and a red pin fire and rolling flash. The opal is held in four split claw settings and suspends from an open work rectangular white bar with an applied kited shaped pane which is carre set with and old European cut diamond approx. 2.8mm x 2.8mm. This, diamond set drop is, in turn, suspended from a white, open work cross shaped panel grain set with an old European cut diamond measuring 2.5mm diameter and two 8-cut diamonds measuring 1.7mm diameter.

The pendant suspends from two lengths of trace link neck chain assessed as 9ct white gold with an attached safety chain assessed as silver, fastening with a half solid bolt ring.
